Peter Kissling, born on 17.02.1969 as the eldest son of Jürgen Kissling, took over the company shares.

Jürgen Kissling left the company as an active partner in 2002.

In 2002 the corporate relationships were restructured and Peter Kissling (* 17 February 1969), the eldest son of Jürgen Kissling, took over the company shares. After completing his master studies of business administration in Würzburg, London and Saarbrücken Peter Kissling worked in a leading American business consulting company for 6 years and could provide important impulses. Jürgen Kissling left the company in 2002 and is no longer an active partner.

In 2008 the MATADOR logo was modernized: The hexagon nut held by a stylized wrench as well as the word mark "MATADOR Schraubwerkzeuge" symbolize the company's origin and its core competence.
