This should be used for normal drilling with the hand drill. HSS-G: Ground, shiny silver twist drill with a higher precision than HSS-R due to an excellent concentricity. However, it has a higher breaking strength than HSS-R. The drill is ideal for all steels with high strength of up to 900 N/mm² as well as VA material. This should be used for precision drilling in stationary drilling machines. HSS-E: Ground, shiny silver twist drill with additional cobalt content (Co5) alloyed with a higher precision than HSS-R, due to an excellent concentricity. It has high toughness and heat resistance, but it has a higher breaking strength than HSS-R. The drill is ideal for all steels with high strength of up to 1100 N/mm² as well as VA material. This should be used for precision drilling in stationary drilling machines.
