Since the presentation of the first reversible ratchet back in 1919 MATADOR has been intensively dealing with drive technology. MATADOR ratchets have been developed for professional users. They are proven millions of times and well-known for their solid workmanship and durability. But what features must the ideal 21st century ratchet have?

We thought a lot about how we can stay true to our line and at the same time create an innovative, real master piece.

The result is our new „Boss“: the Z90. Aggressive in appearance, outstanding in function, with a rich sound and uniquely ergonomic. With the new Z90 every screwing task becomes an experience.
The Z90 has a little more of everything. More torque (50% more than requested in the DIN standard), more teeth (25% than standard fine-toothed ratchets), more applications thanks to its especially small swivel angle of only 4°, more grip with its ergonomic, hand-friendly handle made of several components and lust but not least: More Design.
No frills but classic in shape and with aggressive details. Made of high-alloyed chrome vanadium steel and fully CNC machined the Z90 stands for precise production competence. Tested for at least 30,000 tightening cycles it is made for the long haul - just a typical MATADOR.
