Heinrich Kissling, the founder of MATADOR, continued to run the company together with his son Max Kissling until his death on 07.01.1953. He was 87 years old.

In 1960, Jürgen Heinrich Kissling joined the company as an employee at the age of 24 after completing his technical and commercial training, including in England, and led it in the 3rd generation as managing partner until 2002.
